ABOUT ROUTEED

Built around a journey.
Designed around people.

School transport sits between two important places in a child’s life. RouteEd connects the adults responsible for the journey between them.

A BUILDER’S PERSPECTIVE

A practical problem.
A connected product.

RouteEd was founded and developed by Abraham Bobmanuel. It is a product of Bobby Assists Ltd.

The work brings school transport operations, the WatchMyKid family app and WatchMyKid Driver into one ecosystem. The purpose is straightforward: give the people involved a clearer way to organise the service, find information and follow a shared process.

That means paying attention to details beyond the moving vehicle: who belongs to a route, how a family connects, what a driver needs before departure and how a school follows up after the journey.

WHAT GUIDES THE WORK

Useful technology.
Clear responsibilities.

PEOPLE

Design for different responsibilities.

A parent, school coordinator and driver do not need the same view. Their experiences should work together without blurring who is responsible for what.

CONTEXT

Treat the whole journey as important.

Morning preparation, boarding, arrival, the return journey and handover are connected parts of the same service.

CLARITY

Be precise about what the product does.

Feature availability, access and commercial terms should be confirmed clearly. A planned improvement is not the same as a released feature.

CARE

Keep responsible adults in charge.

Software supports school procedures and communication. It does not replace safe driving, supervision, authorised collection or emergency action.

Built for the work
behind the school run.

If your school is reviewing its transport process, start with the questions your team handles every day. We can use those to make the walkthrough relevant.
