1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using RouteEd, the RouteEd website, the school dashboard, WatchMyKid, WatchMyKid Driver, pilot services, or related features, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
2. About RouteEd
RouteEd™ is a Student Transportation Safety Platform that provides real-time transportation visibility, student boarding verification, guardian authorization, driver accountability, custody records, compliance reporting, and related safety tools for schools and families.
3. User categories
RouteEd may be used by schools, school administrators, transport coordinators, drivers, parents, guardians, students through school-managed records, and visitors submitting enquiries or pilot requests. Different features may apply to different user categories.
4. School responsibilities
Schools are responsible for:
- ensuring they have authority to add students, drivers, parents, guardians, buses, routes, stops, and transport records to RouteEd;
- maintaining accurate school, driver, student, route, and guardian information;
- training drivers and staff on responsible platform use;
- following their own child safeguarding, transportation, pickup, drop-off, emergency, and parent communication policies;
- communicating relevant RouteEd use, data processing, and transport procedures to parents and guardians.
5. Parent and guardian responsibilities
Parents and guardians are responsible for keeping their account information accurate, protecting login details, managing guardian permissions responsibly, monitoring notifications, and contacting the school or RouteEd where they notice incorrect, suspicious, or unsafe transportation activity.
6. Driver responsibilities
Drivers using WatchMyKid Driver must use the app honestly and only for assigned school transportation activities. Drivers must not falsify trip starts, student boarding, location activity, drop-off status, or any transportation record.
7. Pilot programme
The free 30-day school pilot is intended to let schools evaluate RouteEd with a limited scope, usually one bus, one route, and up to 50 students unless otherwise agreed. RouteEd may accept, reject, reschedule, modify, or end pilot access based on school readiness, geography, operational capacity, or misuse.
8. Credits, pricing, and payments
RouteEd may operate using school credits, parent visibility credits, term-based plans, pilot offers, subscriptions, or other pricing structures. Published prices may change over time. Paid services become active only after successful payment, activation, or written agreement. Schools and parents should not misrepresent, inflate, resell, or manipulate RouteEd credits in a way that harms transparency or trust.
9. Service availability and limitations
RouteEd depends on internet connectivity, GPS availability, mobile devices, app permissions, maps, third-party services, power supply, network coverage, and user compliance. We aim to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly accurate, or real-time operation in every circumstance.
10. Safety and emergency disclaimer
RouteEd provides visibility, accountability, communication, and record-keeping tools. RouteEd does not replace school transport supervision, emergency response, driver judgment, parent responsibility, guardian responsibility, child safeguarding procedures, or legal duties owed by schools and transport operators.
11. Acceptable use
Users must not misuse RouteEd, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with platform security, submit false information, harass other users, reverse engineer systems, scrape data, impersonate others, bypass guardian verification, or use RouteEd for unlawful, unsafe, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
12. Account suspension or termination
RouteEd may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where we reasonably believe there has been misuse, false information, security risk, non-payment, unsafe conduct, legal risk, or breach of these Terms.
13. Intellectual property
RouteEd, WatchMyKid, WatchMyKid Driver, No Student Invisible™, product names, logos, designs, copy, software, workflows, and related brand assets are owned by Bobby Assists Ltd or its licensors. 14. Data and privacy
RouteEd’s handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using RouteEd, users acknowledge that transportation visibility, boarding verification, guardian authorization, driver accountability, and compliance reporting require processing relevant school, student, parent, guardian, driver, route, device, and location data.
15. Third-party services
RouteEd may integrate with hosting providers, maps, analytics tools, payment processors, messaging tools, form processors, app stores, email providers, and other third-party services. RouteEd is not responsible for failures caused by third-party platforms outside our reasonable control.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RouteEd and Bobby Assists Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, missed notifications, network failure, GPS inaccuracy, user error, or school/driver operational failures.
17. Changes to the service
RouteEd may improve, modify, remove, rename, pause, or discontinue features as the platform evolves. Future roadmap items such as RouteEd Verified Driver™, Driver Trust Score™, wearables, smart home alerts, SOS, and AI safety monitoring may be introduced, changed, or withheld at RouteEd’s discretion.
18. Governing law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
